We are seeking a Supply Assurance Manager for an immediate start with the Islington local authority. This role involves operational production management and the upkeep of supply assurance and insight work, including financial systems and analytics. The position requires advanced level skills in supply maintenance tasks of a more complex nature and a business partner approach to process and system operations.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Undertake commercial analysis and management information tasks, demonstrating high-level skills, creativity, and imaginative thinking.
  • Ensure proper consideration of governance, regulation, and law across the breadth of specialist disciplines within the service.
  • Audit control lists, reports, and actions, updating service management as necessary.
  • Conduct benchmarking and market research, presenting and summarising findings qualitatively.
  • Track and analyse business benefit realisation.
  • Categorise, prioritise, and assess organisational needs, capabilities, and gaps.
  • Manage classification for category management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated ability to operate complex financial systems and analytics with a business partner approach.
  • Advanced level skills in operational production management and supply assurance.
  • Proven experience in auditing, benchmarking, and market research.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to handle data with attention to governance, regulation, and law.
  • Ability to flag concerns effectively and maintain high standards of communication and reporting.
  • Creative and imaginative thinking with a strong understanding of organisational needs and category management.
