Supply Chain ConsultantHybrid (Onsite 2-3 days London based)£85,000 - £100,000

Our client is looking for an experienced supply chain consultant. You will collaborate with clients to identify opportunities for process improvement and Support leading brands with innovative supply chain solutions.You'll focus on supply chain transformation within the retail sector. You'll be a key advisor for the latest market trends and technological innovations. This role involves leading projects, designing new services and operating models, and delivering complex transformation programmes.

Key responsibilities include:* Developing new opportunities with clients and markets.* Creating propositions to address future challenges and drive strategic partnerships.* Leveraging existing networks to grow the sales pipeline.* Delivering high-value strategic advisory programmes.* Conducting capability improvement projects, including process re-engineering and compliance monitoring.* Managing project delivery, budgets, profitability, risks, and issues.* Acting as a trusted advisor and role model for integrity, innovation, and passion.* Staying updated on market trends and innovations in supply chain and logistics.

Experience in at least two of the following areas is required:* Network Strategy: Designing data-driven supply chain networks using consumer insights and retailer strategies.* Planning & Forecasting: Improving retail operations, in-store and distribution center replenishment, capacity planning, and resource planning.* Transport Planning & Optimisation: Enhancing transport and distribution efficiency to balance order fulfillment with logistics costs, while adapting to supply chain disruptions.* Supply Chain Visibility & Optimisation: Establishing end-to-end visibility to manage volatility and prepare for disruptions.* Reverse Logistics: Crafting holistic returns strategies by addressing reverse logistics challenges with data-driven insights.

Essential Skills/Knowledge/Experience* Proven track record in delivering supply chain and logistics projects within retail or a similar industry.* Understanding of operating models, technology, and processes required for a successful retail supply chain.

Desirable Skills/Knowledge/Experience* Strong consultancy and project delivery capabilities.* Comprehensive understanding of market challenges and client needs.* Exposure to change management techniques is advantageous.* Experience in developing business cases.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and mobile platforms.
