A global consumer business is looking to hire a results-drivenSupply Chain Finance Managerto join their growing team. The Supply Chain Finance Manager will be responsible for optimizing the financial performance of the supply chain operations, providing financial insights, and ensuring cost efficiency throughout the procurement, production, and distribution processes. This role requires a blend of strong financial acumen, supply chain knowledge, and the ability to collaborate across various teams to drive strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis & Reporting:

  • Lead the financial analysis for the end-to-end supply chain operations, including raw material sourcing, manufacturing, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
  • Prepare and present detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on supply chain costs, variances, and performance against budgets and forecasts.
  • Develop cost models to identify and drive cost-saving opportunities within the supply chain.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

  • Collaborate with the supply chain and procurement teams to develop and manage supply chain budgets, ensuring accurate and timely financial forecasting.
  • Assist in creating long-term financial strategies for the supply chain that align with the company’s overall business objectives.

Cost Optimization & Efficiency:

  • Evaluate and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain financial efficiency, including inventory turnover, logistics costs, and production costs.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to reduce waste, streamline operations, and enhance overall supply chain profitability.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with operations, procurement, logistics, and IT teams to ensure financial performance aligns with operational goals.
  • Provide financial insight and support to supply chain leaders to drive decision-making on investments, partnerships, and process improvements.

Risk Management & Compliance:

  • Assess and mitigate financial risks related to supply chain operations, such as commodity price fluctuations, currency exposure, and supply chain disruptions.
  • Ensure compliance with financial controls, policies, and accounting standards across the supply chain processes.

Strategic Projects & Initiatives:

  • Lead or support cross-functional projects to improve supply chain finance systems, tools, and processes.
  • Drive strategic initiatives focused on enhancing the efficiency, sustainability, and profitability of the supply chain function.

Qualifications:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACMA, ACA, ACCA or CPA)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain finance, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), or related roles, preferably within the consumer goods or manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes (procurement, production, logistics, inventory management).
  • Proficient in financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting techniques.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for reporting and decision support.
  • Knowledge of sustainability practices in supply chain finance.
  • Experience managing global supply chain finance operations and working with international teams.
