Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing and managing the entire supply chain process, including procurement, manufacturing, and delivery of goods.
- Implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency in the supply chain.
- Managing relationships with suppliers and negotiating contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborating with other departments to integrate supply chain with business systems and processes.
- Analysing performance data to measure the effectiveness of supply chain processes.
- Identifying potential issues within the supply chain and implementing solutions.
Profile
The successful candidate would have:
- Experience in managing supply chains within the FMCG industry, ideally within an SME environment.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and strategies.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant supply chain software.
