Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

Location: Wandsworth, UKSalary: £50,000 per annum

Role Overview: Are you a logistics expert with a knack for ensuring the right quantities of raw materials and finished goods are in the right place at the right time? We are seeking a Distribution Manager to join our team at our Company HQ in London. In this role, you will report to the Operations Manager, manage a Logistics Coordinator and liaise with warehouse operations globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve best freight rates and ensure efficient transportation modes to conform to the freight budget.
  • Develop and implement strategies for timely inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and the technical team for optimal packaging and labelling.
  • Ensure rapid customs clearance for shipments.
  • Maintain supply chain and warehouse security.
  • Troubleshoot logistical issues, including marine insurance claims and courier performance.
  • Oversee the generation of the Raw Materials Forecast and Make to Stock list.
  • Able to use MS Office Suite to collate and present figures and information in monthly management meetings. 
  • Work with various departments to avoid stock outs and overstock, optimize shipment sizes, and ensure suitable warehousing space.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role within the supply chain field.
  • Bachelor’s degree or MSc in Supply Chain Management preferred (but not essential).
  • Excellent communicator and able to interact to all levels.
