Your new role:

The CPO/ RTB Surveyor will lead, plan, and deliver expert professional services related to Compulsory Purchase Orders and the Right to Buy process within the Property Professional Services team. Support the development, management, and delivery of Council services and to ensure the Council maximises service outcomes in a cost-effective manner.

What you'll need to succeed:

Extensive experience in a similarly complex public sector organisation within a property and asset management role.Expertise in the property development process, strategic asset management, valuations, and development appraisals.Comprehensive knowledge of current legislation related to property development, Compulsory Purchase Orders, Right to Buy, and procurement procedures.Being able to manage key stakeholders effectively.Proactive and organised approach to handling a diverse workload, with the ability to make decisive decisions and perform well under pressure.Confidence to work independently to achieve organisational objectives.Experience of managing complex and contentious issues, requiring high levels of support, persuasion, and advocacy, while being aware of major policy objectives.Ability to empathise with stakeholders, influence them, and secure commitment to objectives.
