FRA Remedial Works Contracts SurveyorLocation: London (2d wfh)Rate: £400/d UmbrellaContract Length: 6 months+________________________________________We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented FRA Remedial Works Contracts Surveyor to join the team. In this role, you will manage large-scale Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) works programs to ensure our properties meet compliance standards and adhere to building regulations. This is a key position within the Customer Services Directorate where you will oversee the updating and replacing of property components to ensure their safety and longevity, as well as manage fire safety issues across our managed stock.You will work closely with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure that the properties under our management meet safety and fire compliance requirements in line with current regulations.________________________________________Key Responsibilities:* Manage large-scale planned FRA works programs to ensure compliance with building regulations and safety standards.* Investigate and manage complex building refurbishment projects, particularly those addressing fire safety concerns within managed stock.* Support the Customer Services Team with all planned works and fire safety-related issues.* Coordinate inspections and surveys with framework contractors and consultants, managing your own diary and ensuring smooth project delivery.* Provide recommendations to ensure properties are compliant with fire safety regulations and the Building Safety Act 2022.* Ensure health and safety remains a primary consideration in all decision-making processes.________________________________________Knowledge & Skills:* Degree in Construction or equivalent experience in FRA works.* Fire-related qualification.* Experience managing large-scale FRA works programs.* Strong understanding of the Building Safety Act 2022.* Knowledge of both passive and active fire safety protection products, their testing requirements, and installation methods.* Competency in Microsoft Office and core software tools.* Industry experience in hands-on management of contracts.* Proven ability to successfully manage contracts with large suppliers (contractors, consultants, manufacturers).
