General Repairs Surveyor
- Hourly Rate: £38 per hour (Umbrella)

We are actively seeking a General Repairs Surveyor for an immediate start in the North London area. The role is initially on a temporary basis with the potential to become permanent after 3 months.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Conduct inspections across various properties to identify repair needs.
- Prioritise repair work and coordinate schedules to ensure timely completion.
- Oversee contractors to ensure repair work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with regulations.
- Ensure all repair activities adhere to health and safety guidelines.
- Provide professional advice on property repairs and maintenance strategies.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure the structural integrity and safety of properties.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repair schedules, and completed works.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience as a General Repairs or Maintenance Surveyor role within Social Housing or Residential Housing
- Strong understanding of building construction, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficient in report writing and record keeping.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members.
- A valid UK driving licence and the ability to travel within the North London area.
