You will be a RICS-qualified surveyor, with some experience in commercial valuation.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Valuation Process Management
    • Handle valuation instructions effectively, ensuring high-quality and accurate delivery.
    • Utilise tools like Argus valuation software for valuation appraisals.
  2. Client Engagement
    • Act as the primary client contact, fostering strong relationships.
    • Deliver professional, well-written, and precise valuation reports tailored to client needs.
  3. Business Development
    • Identify and pursue opportunities with existing and new contacts to grow the business.
    • Stay informed about client needs, market trends, and future requirements to provide relevant services.
  4. Market Insight
    • Maintain a working knowledge of the local commercial and residential property markets to provide informed advice and services.

Core Skills and Attributes

  • Strong experience in commercial property valuation for financial and reporting purposes.
  • Proficient with tools like Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and property valuation software such as Argus.
  • Ability to produce accurate and high-standard valuation reports.
  • Understands and anticipates client requirements.
  • Skilled in collecting and acting on client feedback.
  • Builds and maintains client confidence through professionalism and high-quality service.
  • Strong presenter, capable of articulating technical and business matters effectively.
  • Excellent persuasive and negotiation skills.
  • Focused on enhancing both personal and team service delivery.
  • Detail-oriented, ensuring accurate data gathering and report preparation.
