Phoenix ME are seeking an organised and knowledgeable Environmental sustainability Coordinator to join our Sustainability team.
The Environmental Sustainability Coordinator will play a key role in shaping the future of sustainable projects at Phoenix ME. Learning and understanding a broad range of sustainability concepts and requirements, from green certifications to embodied carbon. Your insights and knowledge will aid internal and external teams, driving improvements in the sustainability of our projects. We are open to Graduate or Apprentice level applicants.
- Assist the project teams with the fulfilment sustainability criteria and ensure all targets (legal, client and PME) are being delivered, acting as a technical expert for the company.
- Support the development of client carbon and sustainability strategies on individual projects, including agreeing project outcomes and ensuring their delivery by the project team.
- Deliver purpose-led and measurable outcomes on projects that drive the sustainability agenda.
- Aid in the collection of sustainability information from suppliers and project teams.
- Calculate the embodied carbon for MEP equipment
- Create and analyse thermal models, calculating operational energy consumption for projects.
- Research client and market needs to evolve and maintain necessary competencies.
- Help the management team to develop the direction of PME’s internal sustainability strategy.
