Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Sustainability Manager to join their team. The Sustainability Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing sustainability initiatives across their office refurbishment projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sustainability practices within the construction industry and a passion for promoting environmental stewardship.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop Sustainability Strategies:Create and implement comprehensive sustainability strategies for office refurbishment projects that align with company goals and industry standards.
Environmental Compliance:Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and industry standards.
Resource Management:Optimise the use of resources, including energy, water, and materials, to minimise waste and reduce the environmental footprint of projects.
Sustainable Design:Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to integrate sustainable design principles into refurbishment projects.
Green Certifications:Pursue relevant green building certifications (e.g., LEED, BREEAM) for office refurbishment projects and ensure all criteria are met.
Stakeholder Engagement:Work closely with clients, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to promote sustainability practices and ensure their integration into all aspects of project planning and execution.
