About the role:
Reporting to the Head of Tax, responsible for delivering tax returns and the management of UK tax reporting and compliance, supported by a team of 2x Tax Assistants.
Hybrid working: 2-3 days in the London office.
Key Duties include:
- Analysis of data for tax purposes (VAT, SDLT, CIS and CT).
- Implement/maintain SAO regime.
- Manage quarterly CT61 submissions.
- Project work and technical research.
- Review and oversee preparation of CIS return.
- Review and oversee preparation PSA returns.
- Review and preparation of quarterly UK VAT returns.
- Review of SDLT calculations and returns.
- Tax provisions and reconciliation of tax accounts.
Requirements:
- Broad subject matter knowledge with focus on VAT, SDLT, CIS and CT tax.
- Experience in VAT, SDLT, CIS and CT.
- Extensive tax accounting experience within social housing.
- Fully qualified tax or accounting professional.
- Strong communication skills to engage with internal/external stakeholders.
