The Role:

Leo Technology have partnered with a long-term client who are looking to add an API Product Owner to their talented technical team. This business, who specialise in the development and delivery of enterprise SaaS solutions for the retail and hospitality sectors, are going from strength to strength in their mission to re-define the world of customer loyalty schemes. With an extensive client list boasting global names like Sainsburys, Tesco's, Woolworths, Target, and JD Sports, you'll have access to some of the most forward thinking projects happening within retail.

In this role, you will be a key member of the product team. You will work closely with engineers, project managers, sales consultants, and marketing wizards to translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria for the engineering teams to implement. You'll work heavily with technical API solutions, so extensive experience in this area is critical for success in this role.

This role is perfect for an experienced Technical Product Owner who is looking to push their career development within a fast-paced, but truly supportive, environment.

The Person:

  • 5+ years experience working as a Product Owner on technical / software delivery projects - essential
  • Experience working with APIs - essential
  • Experience working with SaaS solutions - essential
  • Excellent communication skills - essential
  • A team player who enjoys collaboration and is comfortable working across the full SDLC - essential
  • Exposure to working with POS systems - desirable
  • Exposure to the retail or hospitality sectors - desirable

Interview Process:

  • 1st stage - Introductory Video Interview
  • 2nd stage - Video interview with the hiring team
  • 3rd stage - HR interviews - Values
