As their new Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for understanding customer needs and requirements and proposing appropriate solutions. Additionally support pro-active outbound initiatives and campaigns and be responsible for a sales pipeline following up quotations and closing down opportunities.
The role of Technical Sales Engineerwill be responsible for the following areas:
- Providing solution based approach to formulating quotations
- Build and maintain a high level of product knowledge
- Collaborating with production, engineering and customer service departments to ensure viability of proposed solution and delivery time scale
- Develop strong customer relationships to nurture and grow the customer base
- Optimise customer satisfaction through continually improving internal quotation process

- Preferably experience with MS Office, Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics
- Ability to read and understand complex documents and customer requirements
- Excellent communication, presentation skills and professional presence
- Experience of working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Previous customer service experience
