As their new Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for understanding customer needs and requirements and proposing appropriate solutions. Additionally support pro-active outbound initiatives and campaigns and be responsible for a sales pipeline following up quotations and closing down opportunities.

The role of Technical Sales Engineerwill be responsible for the following areas:

  • Providing solution based approach to formulating quotations
  • Build and maintain a high level of product knowledge
  • Collaborating with production, engineering and customer service departments to ensure viability of proposed solution and delivery time scale
  • Develop strong customer relationships to nurture and grow the customer base
  • Optimise customer satisfaction through continually improving internal quotation process

  • Experience of working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Previous customer service experience
