A leading international security provider is seeking a Radio Paging & Communications Commissioning Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge communication systems while delivering top-notch service and solutions to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve service calls and perform maintenance visits as required.
- Maintain and manage company vehicle and stock.
- Provide on-call support according to rota, with flexible hours.
- Travel to client sites across London, South-East, and Essex.
- Assist installation technicians and service personnel to meet company objectives.
Experience Required:
- 2+ years' experience with Radio Communication Systems (DECT, UHF, IP Telephony).
- 5+ years in the security or communications industry.
- Strong IT knowledge, including TCP/IP, Windows/DOS, and database management (Access/SQL).
- Familiarity with RS485, Ethernet networks, and tools.
- Clean driving license and the ability to obtain security clearance.
Person Specification:
- Proactive, with excellent problem-solving skills and customer service experience.
- Comfortable in clinical, secure, and custodial environments.
- Flexible, adaptable, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to identify sales leads (commission available).
