Delivery Manager - Syndicate Application Management

We are partnering with a leading organisation to find a talented Delivery Manager for their Syndicate Application Management team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced IT Project / Delivery Manager to lead multiple application development projects and improve key processes within a dynamic and collaborative environment.Role Overview: As the Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Syndicate AM Development Team. You'll manage the delivery of several concurrent projects, including tech refresh initiatives, vulnerability remediation, and application change requests. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams, third-party vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and prioritise the workload of the Syndicate AM Development Team to meet defined KPIs.
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of multiple application development projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to define project goals, scope, and deliverables.
  • Develop roadmaps to prioritise backlog items and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Manage third-party vendor relationships and resolve blockers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Continuously drive improvements to the SDLC in line with industry best practices.
  • Maintain and report on the project backlog through Azure DevOps.
  • Support third-party resource planning and collaborate with IT and business change teams.
  • Ensure thorough testing and user acceptance of changes before deployment.
  • Provide regular project status updates and assist with budget management.

Ideal Candidate:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT project management or delivery management.
  • Proven success in delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (Azure DevOps).
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in managing vendor relationships and third-party service providers.
Desirable Skills:
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification.
  • Experience with Azure Cloud services, including migration or new service delivery.
  • Azure Fundamentals (AZ 900) certification.
