Salt Recruitment's Local Government team is proud to be working with a prominent Local Government authority to recruit an experienced Digital Project Manager. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the Housing division by leading the procurement and implementation of a new Document Management System (DMS).
This is a vital project that will enable the secure and efficient storage, management, and retrieval of documents, while facilitating a seamless migration from legacy systems.
The RoleAs the Digital Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end implementation of this high-profile DMS project. Your primary focus will be to deliver a system that enhances document security, accessibility, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Develop and execute detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
- Procurement Oversight: Manage the procurement process for the new DMS, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to ensure buy-in and successful project outcomes.
- Data Migration: Oversee the migration of documents from legacy systems to the new platform.
- Risk and Budget Management: Identify potential risks, devise mitigation strategies, and manage project budgets effectively.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all deliverables meet organisational standards and stakeholder expectations.
