A dynamic organisation is seeking a Senior Delivery Manager with exceptional delivery management skills and a strong background in digital products. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of the Digital and Innovation elements of the Report It digital programme. This role involves collaboration with three multi-disciplinary product mission teams, comprising specialists in data, architecture, IoT, resident experience, research & design, and technology.

The Senior Delivery Manager will share joint responsibility for the programme's success alongside an existing Senior Delivery Manager. Key responsibilities include managing resources, team dynamics, and cadence while ensuring a robust research, service design, and data analysis pipeline is maintained.

Position Details:

  • Type: Full-time, Hybrid
  • Location: Office attendance required (minimum once a week, with possibilities for additional days)

Reporting Structure:

  • Reports to the Head of Delivery and Product (currently being recruited)
  • Matrix managed by the Chief Customer Experience Officer (interim reporting to the Interim Chief Delivery and Engagement Officer)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of customer-facing digital products.
  • Utilise agile methodologies effectively.
  • Engage in stakeholder management for both internal and external partners.
  • Lead change management initiatives.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication across all levels.
  • Bring extensive senior-level delivery management experience.
  • Exhibit a strong understanding of local government or relevant public sector environments.
  • Demonstrate experience in managing complex, fast-paced programmes that are resident-facing.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in leading large transformation services is highly preferable.
