NET Recruit are partnering with a business services business to recruit a Finance Systems Project Manager based in the London area.Your Role:While in this position your duties may include but will not be limited to:
  • Developing and documenting the objectives and scope of the financial process changes that are required, whilst gathering functional stakeholder input to agree on the impact of the changes
  • Assessing and managing the necessary mitigations for business integration risks for the financial processes, and propose mitigations for operational integration risks
  • Ensuring that the changes and implementation of the financial processes and controls meets the compliance requirements and has approval from finance stakeholders
  • Delivering all aspects of the design on time alongside the programme, with the aim of enabling the financial monitoring of impacted units from the programme to go live
  • Providing reporting on benefit enablers, benefits owners and benefit delivery, as well as analysing and reporting on project costs and forecasts
  • Making sure all project management duties are taken care throughout the lifecycle of the projects, for example the end-to-end finance project plan, risks capturing and mitigation, quality plan, scope management and change requests
You MUST Have:Please apply ONLY if you meet the following criteria:
  • Extensive project management experience within a complex programme environment, with proven experience delivering:
    • Financial projects in SOX environments
    • business and financial integration projects including change controls
  • An accounting qualification
  • Comprehensive knowledge of finance accounting and controls design (US SOX experience would be preferable) as well as financial processes
  • Exposure to assessing and mitigating risks for business integration risk impacting financial processes
  • Experience providing reporting and analysis of benefits realisation
  • Able to work at a senior stakeholder level and have excellent stakeholder management skills
Your Opportunity:This is an opportunity to join a business undergoing a large-scale transformational change programme, and will support this programme by designing and deploying change whilst leading the financial process workstream to manage and implement the changes required to support the Programme Director.  This company are offering a competitive salary of up to around £95,000 which will also accompany a peripheral package that will include a good holiday allocation and pension, the potential for a bonus earning, a car allowance, as well as plenty of other rewards.
