Cedar is collaborating with a Central Government organisation to find an experienced Infrastructure Senior Project Manager to join the team for an 18 month contract. The post holder will leverage their expertise to deliver assurances to ongoing projects and contribute to the development of junior members of staff.

Rate: £450 - £550 per day (Inside IR35)

Location: South East England

Hybrid Pattern: mostly on-site w/ 1-2 days remote per fortnight

Contract Length: 18 months

Responsibilities

  • Review, assure and provide feedback on ongoing projects within the infrastructure and surrounding space.
  • Ensure the successful delivery of projects in line with requirements, cost and quality standards.
  • Mentor a team of leaders.
  • Spearhead various projects across governance with a focus on compliance and reporting.
  • Oversee planning stage of projects.
  • Instigate change in accordance with Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB).
  • Identify and follow up on risks and opportunities.

Requirements

  • Background of 5+ years as a Project Manager in a Central Government organisation.
  • Demonstrable experience reviewing and providing assurance on complex infrastructure projects managed by others.
  • Experience of successfully leading a team.
  • Project Management qualifications / memberships are advantageous.
  • Must be willing and eligible to undergo DV clearance.
