My client in Greater London is looking to appoint talented Operational Commissioning Manager - Adults (HoS equivalent) on a Contract basis.

This role will lead and manage a specialist team of commissioning officers to oversee a range of commissioning, procurement and contracting activities for adult social care to ensure placement sufficiency and improved outcomes for vulnerable adults.

About the role:

Based in Greater London (Hybrid):

  • Support the team during a CQC inspection of Adult's Services.
  • Support with team restructuring processes
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with health, housing and social care providers, ICS and council staff, carers and advocates and elected Members.
  • Support the directorates with operational commissioning decisions by establishing and maintaining robust and effective commissioning arrangements across the service and with related partner agencies.

About you:
You will have the following experiences:

  • Proven experience in Adult Social Care commissioning
  • Excellent operational leadership skills.
  • Experience in transformation, improvement and CQC readiness is highly desired.
  • Local Authority experience is essential.

What's on offer:

  • Salary: 500-650+ per day, inside IR35
