Join our client, a leading public sector organisation, as a Partnerships and Commissioning Manager and make a significant impact in the Wandsworth, Richmond, and Kingston communities. In this temporary role, you will lead and develop major partnerships while commissioning and contract managing employment support services.
Hybrid min 2 days per week onsite.

Responsibilities include:
- Establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships with statutory organisations, colleges, training providers, community groups, and senior community representatives.
- Collaborating with other council teams to create partnership arrangements supporting employment and skills objectives.
- Negotiating with Prime Contractors to oversee external employment support provisions and ensure alignment with local priorities.
- Staying up to date with regional and national policy changes to ensure relevant provisions.
- Identifying potential stakeholders/partners to address service gaps.
- Leading external funding bids and new project development in the employment and skills agenda.
- Establishing and overseeing procurement processes for commissioned services.
- Supporting audit and compliance activities.
- Developing support tools and delivering training to external partners.
- Managing the Access to Training function of our client's team.
Requirements:
- Strong partnership development and management skills.
- Knowledge of government-funded initiatives and employment support programmes.
- Experience in bidding for external funding and managing partnerships.
- Ability to oversee procurement processes and contracting frameworks.
- Understanding of compliance and audit requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
