Key responsibilities:

Release management & planning:

  • Closely collaborate with the product manager to plan and manage releases in alignment with roadmap deliverables.
  • Coordinate the release process across development, support, and testing teams, ensuring a smooth workflow.
  • Proactively communicate challenges and provide timely progress reports.
  • Develop and maintain Release Guidelines: Create clear and practical release guidelines for the team, detailing timelines, quality standards, and processes. Ensure the team follows these guidelines to maintain consistency and quality in every release cycle.

Agile facilitation:

  • Lead Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Demos, Retrospectives, and Daily Stand ups.
  • Ensure adherence to Agile best practices, maintaining team focus on delivering business value.
  • Act as a liaison between release planning and other functional areas, fostering team cohesion and collaboration.

Team development & continuous improvement:

  • Continuously improve team processes to enhance predictability, productivity, and quality of deliverables.
  • Foster a collaborative environment across teams, prioritizing business value delivery.
  • Support the team in refining estimation, forecasting, and adherence to timelines to ensure successful releases.

Documentation & best practices:

  • Write and review technical documentation, including configuration manuals, best practices, and process documentation.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and maintain comprehensive technical documentation within the team.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in Salesforce development, release management, and Agile methodologies.
  • Good understanding of application infrastructure, system architecture, and operating systems to facilitate efficient release management.
  • Working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and its application in release management.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and experience in utilizing them to enhance deployment processes and product's quality is a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrate ability to lead Scrum ceremonies and manage cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of bridging the gap between technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience in writing and maintaining detailed documentation.
  • Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Developer) are advantageous.
