About Us: We are a growing FX company with a team of 30 professionals, dedicated to delivering top-tier services to our clients. Our platform, developed by a third-party team, is at the core of our operations. We are looking for a Hands-On Service Delivery Manager to oversee the platform's performance, ensure seamless issue resolution, and collaborate closely with various teams to maintain our high service standards.

Role Overview: As a Hands-On Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for supporting our platform, which was developed by a third-party team. This role involves resolving issues, handling user requests through investigation and analysis, and making code changes as needed. You will also play a crucial part in understanding and managing our data architecture, conducting system testing, and ensuring the security of our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Platform Support: Oversee the platform's performance, resolving issues and responding to user requests with thorough investigation, analysis, and subsequent code changes.
  • Data Architecture: Gain a deep understanding of the company’s data architecture, particularly how data flows into and out of the Front Office and other applications. Source and analyze data across the system.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Manage the testing of small enhancements developed by third-party developers, ensuring thorough documentation and quality control.
  • Cybersecurity: Organize penetration testing as required and ensure that the company’s systems are protected against hacking and other cyber threats.
  • Azure Expertise: Utilize your strong Azure knowledge to support and optimize our systems and processes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Front Office team throughout the development lifecycle, taking on tasks to fully understand the solutions being built.
  • Documentation: Maintain and update the knowledge base of end-user and technical guides for bespoke solutions, ensuring that third-party developers provide adequate documentation for each release.
  • Progress Reporting: Regularly communicate solution progress to management and keep work tracking systems up to date.
  • Regulatory Communication: Liaise with regulatory bodies such as the FCA or MFSA as needed regarding IT solutions.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Azure Experience: Strong understanding and practical experience with Microsoft Azure.
  • Cybersecurity Knowledge: Solid foundation in cybersecurity, including preventative measures and threat management.
  • Educational Background: A university degree in an IT-related field, such as Computer Science.
  • Industry Experience: Preferably 6+ years of experience in the industry.
  • Development Lifecycle Expertise: Thorough understanding of the IT development lifecycle, including testing, development frameworks, methodologies, and implementation.
  • Data & Systems Architecture: Knowledge of data and systems architecture, with a focus on front-office applications.
