Fabric Technician (Carpentry-bias)

My client, a well-established private hospital in the heart of London, are seeking a dedicated Fabric Technician to handle various fabric-related tasks including painting, maintenance, and decorating across our facilities. This role offers a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and opportunities for career advancement.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • To ensure that all work is carried out in a safe manner following the appropriate risk assessment at all times.
  • Undertake essential repair works and general maintenance activities at the request of the management
  • Undertake helpdesk assigned reactive and PPM repair works as by the Helpdesk coordinators.
  • Uses all relevant tools and equipment within safety guidelines as necessary for the completion of works.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry (or equivalent qualification)
  • Experience in a similar level role
  • Experience with Fire Doors
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards in all work and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
