Fabric Technician (FM) - London / Heathrow
Carbon60 are looking to recruit an experience Fabric Technician / Handyperson to join a worldwide successful facilities management company to join their maintenance team at Heathrow Airport.
You may be required to carry out minor repairs to building fabric, handyperson and porter duties. To partake in the upkeep of onsite Logbooks, including subcontractor management.
Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
Salary 40k - 43k depending on experience and qualifications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Positively respond to both our internal and external customers through effective communication and personal accessibility.
  • Mechanical, changing taps, washers, light bulbs, toilet seats, door handles etc.
  • Carry out any minor reactive tasks within the agreed service level to include plumbing, fabric, (minor electrical) or porter duties.
  • Identify, report and occasionally rectifying any defects and hazards as appropriate.
  • Assist with management of domestic water systems to comply with the requirements with L8.
  • Occasionally supervise & escort subcontractors to ensure comply with contractual commitments, and site operating processes.
  • Maintain the onsite Logbooks to ensure they are always up to date with the necessary documentation.


Skills / Training / Experience

  • Any form of trade qualification is essential (Mechanical/Electrical)
  • Awareness of Health & Safety obligations in Facilities Management Industry
  • Experience of working in Corporate and Industrial Facilities Maintenance environment.
  • Experience within a customer facing role, ability to communicate to customers effectively.
