Fabric Engineer

Our client is looking to recruit a fabric engineer based in Hatfield working for prestigious commercial environment with opportunity of working through a career progression, upskilling opportunities within a growing sector.

Working Hours:
  • Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Availability for On-call Duties
Key Responsibilities:
  • General visual site inspections across plant rooms and communal spaces
  • Painting & Decorating
  • Tiling
  • Carpentry
  • Basic plumbing
  • Drainage & flushing
  • Changing light bulbs
  • Emergency light testing
  • Fire alarm/door testing
  • Grouting & Plastering
  • Minor electrical works
  • Repairing building fixtures: doors, handles, windows etc.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
City & Guilds 18th Edition certification.
  • Proven experience in a comparable Building Service Role.
  • Proficiency in planned preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to troubleshoot single and three-phase control and distribution circuits.
  • Familiarity with Lighting, Motor, UPS Systems, emergency generation, and HVAC plant equipment.
Desirable Qualifications & Skills:

City & Guilds/BTEC in Electrical Engineering.

  • Familiarity with Computacenter head office systems.
  • Certified in using access equipment.
  • Specialized training in relevant areas.
  • Health and safety qualifications.
