Job Opportunity: Engineering Supervisor - Heathrow Airport
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Engineering Supervisor to lead a team of engineers at Heathrow Airport. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair activities at the airport, ensuring all operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership and direction to a team of engineers.
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and handle reactive works.
- Respond effectively to both critical and non-critical mechanical/electrical failures.
- Oversee incident management, monitor plant status, and manage equipment breakdowns.
- Ensure effective communication with stakeholders, representing the company in a professional manner at all times.
- Promote excellent customer service by coaching and supporting your team in maintaining strong client relationships.
- Manage an inventory of regularly used parts and critical spares.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- A technical qualification in an electrical (preferred) or mechanical discipline.
- 18th Edition qualified.
- High Voltage - Authorised Person (HV-AP) experience, qualified to JPS 375, or willing to undertake necessary training.
- PS-AP qualification or the willingness to obtain and maintain it.
- Solid understanding of both mechanical and electrical building services.
