Join our team in Lambeth as a Cleaner/Attendant within Sheltered Housing now!

Enhanced DBS is an essential requirement.

The Candidate:

  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensure that all areas of the sheltered housing schemes are thoroughly cleaned and maintained to the standards set by management. This includes common areas, restrooms, and any other designated spaces.
  • Emergency Response: Provide assistance to tenants in emergency situations by responding to summons for help, promoting a safe and supportive environment.
  • Resident Well-being and Safety: Assist in maintaining a secure, safe living environment for residents, actively supporting their well-being and independence.
  • Community Support and Engagement: Foster a positive community atmosphere by promoting the sheltered housing scheme as a place of excellence. Work collaboratively to help organize social events and activities that engage residents.
  • Security: Ensure that the security of the housing scheme is upheld during working hours, monitoring access and addressing any safety concerns.

The Role:

  • Experience: Previous experience in cleaning, property maintenance, or caretaking roles, especially within residential or care settings, is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Friendly, approachable, and able to interact positively with residents and team members.
  • Compassionate and Reliable: A caring individual who is attentive to the needs of tenants, particularly in emergencies.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and management to ensure a well-maintained and secure environment.
  • Organized and Responsible: Able to handle tasks independently while maintaining high standards in cleanliness and safety.
