Midday Meals Supervisor

Location: Finsbury Park, Islington
Hours: 2 hours per day (midday)
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Midday Meals Supervisor to join our team at a vibrant primary school in Finsbury Park, Islington. This role involves supervising students during their lunch break, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment. If you have a passion for working with children and can keep up with high-energy students, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise students during lunch periods, both in the dining hall and playground
  • Encourage positive behaviour and interaction among students
  • Assist with the setup and cleanup of lunch areas
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students
  • Address any issues or conflicts that arise in a calm and professional manner
  • Support students with any needs they may have during lunchtime
Requirements:
  • A valid DBS on the Update Service (essential) or be willing to apply for one
  • Ability to start immediately
  • Experience working with children, ideally in a school setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High energy and the ability to engage with primary school-aged children
  • Reliability and punctuality
