The Area Manager will oversee the operations of 12 retail stores, ensuring high standards of customer service and team performance. Description

  • Manage and oversee the performance of 12 stores in the London region
  • Oversee 12 store managers and 50 staff to implement business plans and increase profitability
  • Budget planning in conjunction with Regional Manager and P&L accountability
  • Analyse sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement
  • Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained across the region
  • Monitor and maintain KPI expectations of all the stores consistently
  • Recruiting, training, developing staff across junior to managerial levels
  • Coordinate with head office on inventory management, marketing, and promotions
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all stores.

Profile

  • Hands-on experience in managing multiple stores in retail/ health clubs/ travel and leisure/ hospitality
  • Sharp commercial acumen and an eye for numbers
  • Strong leadership and team management skills in a customer-centric business
  • Excellent strategic planning and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly articulate and strong communication skills across all levels
  • Good understanding of retail management software and data analysis
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build a rapport with everyone.
  • You will travel and work from various stores 4 days per week, leading teams by example and delivering results
  • Must have own car and a clean, valid U.K. driver's license to commute around London.
