RT4 Specialist Cleaning Team Operative  Salary: £30,160 Location: Lewisham Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Specialist Cleaning Team Operative on behalf of one of our clients.To be responsible for carrying out specialist cleaning works as planned by the Specialist Cleaning Manager. To ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with current health and safety parameters and company guidelines.  Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.  Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • To carry out all works in line with work bill instructions and specifications and to required standards. 
  • Communicate any incomplete jobs and problems to the Specialist Cleaning Manager as soon as they occur. 
  • Report any third-party property damage to the Manager. Carry out any other duties as required by the company, associated with supervising the work to the client’s satisfaction, the periodic cleaning team or the company’s services. 
  • Promote a positive health and safety culture, this includes the reporting of near misses or breach of company procedures to the Manager. 
  • Ensure that work is being carried out in accordance with health and safety guidelines. 
  • To ensure that RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statements) are read, understood, and tasks are completed compliantly. 
  • Ensure all equipment is suitable / safe and in good working order and to report any defects / issues to the Manager. 
  • Ensure that all equipment, materials, solutions are used and stored securely according to the manufacturer and COSHH guidelines. 
  • Ensure you are wearing the appropriate PPE for the task and conditions. 
  • Promote colleague initiatives such as regular rewards, training platforms, social media, social value initiatives etc. 
  • Support and aid delivery of sustainability strategy. 
  • To embody company values and contribute the positive culture. 

Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Exceptional customer service focus and commitment to deliver on promises in full. 
  • Knowledge of health & safety guidelines, legislation and practices. 
  • Knowledge of specialist cleaning methods. 
  • Organised, methodical, proactive with excellent time management skills. 
  • Good interpersonal skills (supportive, friendly, and approachable). 
  • Reliable, professional with a can-do attitude. 
  • A good standard of verbal and written English. 
  • To work to a flexible time pattern in order to suit the needs of the business. This will include early mornings, weekends and evenings if required.
