Translation Project Manager Internship
Location: This role is based in London, SE21 8EN.
Salary: £800.00 per month.
Contract: 6 months internship.
Hours: 9.00am-5.30pm.
Benefits: Hybrid work pattern (2 WFH days a week), Flexible arrangements, Birthday day off, 10 days PTO + bank holidays.

We are now seeking a full-time talented Project Manager Intern to quote for and manage a variety of projects (e.g., translation, interpreting and transcription) across our diverse and growing global client base, using different in-house software. The successful candidate will have a background in languages and a positive, hard-working attitude in order to make an impact from the outset.
Responsibilities:
Analyse files and prepare quotations
Liaise and negotiate with linguists
Perform Quality Assurance tasks and short translations where required
Oversee the lifecycle of projects
Customer service (emails, answering calls)
Linguist database updates as required
Ad-hoc admin tasks (including but not limited to attending document appointments, drop-offs, pick-ups, posting documents, office responsibilities)
What we need from you:
University degree (preferably in linguistic/translation related studies)
Fluent or very good command of English
Attention to details while multitasking, and time management
Communication, negotiation and organisational skills
Problem solving, decision making and analytical skills
Understanding of key financial principles (budgeting)
Desire to exceed client expectations while learning
Knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with different file formats
Adaptability to work independently, as part of a team and under supervision
Desirable skills:
Customer service skills/experience
Knowledge of additional languages
Familiarity with CAT Tools (e.g. SDL Trados Studio, MemoQ)
Please note that all internships are consultative. This means that both you and the Team Lead will need to be proactive in discussing the details of the role, setting targets and regular check-ins both prior to arrival and during your time with us.
