We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality finishes. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety. The Painter will work both independently and as part of a team on various projects, contributing to the overall aesthetic and functionality of the spaces we work on.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
  • Select and mix paints according to specifications or colour requirements.
  • Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment with precision and care.
  • Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organised throughout the painting process.
  • Inspect completed work for quality assurance to ensure it meets company standards.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to coordinate tasks effectively on-site.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, reporting any issues as necessary.

Skills

  • Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to the painting trade.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during preparation and application processes.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge to understand equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
