Location: Battersea
Salary: 38,000 to 43,000 + Overtime
Hours: 40 hours per week
Alecto Recruitment is working with an established body shop in Battersea to recruit an experienced Paint Sprayer/Vehicle Prepper. If you have a passion for quality workmanship and delivering top-tier service, this opportunity is perfect for you.
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality vehicle paint spraying and preparation work on a variety of makes and models.
- Prepare vehicles for painting, ensuring surfaces are smooth, cleaned, and primed.
- Mix and match paint to the exact specifications required for each job.
- Carry out necessary masking procedures before spraying.
- Apply paint coats, ensuring an even and durable finish.
- Inspect and touch up painted areas for a flawless final presentation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the timely and efficient completion of work.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and the spray booth to the highest standards of cleanliness and functionality.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in paint spraying and vehicle prepping within a body shop environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to mix and match paints to specific formulas.
- Proficiency in using spray guns and other relevant tools.
- Good knowledge of the vehicle repair and refinishing process.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and a team player attitude.
- NVQ/IMI Level 2 or 3 in Paint Spraying or a similar qualification is advantageous but not essential.
