Role Description
I am seeking an Electrical Contracts Manager for a Electrical and Building services company based in London.The Electrical Contract Manager will be responsible for overseeing a recently awarded FIRE SAFETY WORKS contract, starting December 2024. The scope includes the following:
Fire detection and alarm systems (including smoke and heat detectors within dwellings and integrated systems in common parts)
Evacuation alert systems (to be used by Fire & Rescue Service)
Installation of fire / smoke dampers within flats onto communal ducts
Emergency and communal lighting
Smoke ventilation systems (mechanical and natural smoke and heat exhaust ventilation systems including AOVs)
There is a 3 stage interview process 1stteams, second face to face with manager, 3rdinterview with director
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in electrical project management and contract management skills
- Knowledge of building regulations and electrical codes
- Experience in coordinating with clients and contractors
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage project schedules and budgets effectively
- Detail-oriented and organized approach to work
- Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or related field
- BS 8629,2019 Design, Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance of Evacuation Alert Systems
