Join one of London's largest housing associations as a Fire Safety Assurance Lead. This pivotal role involves delivering Fire Safety assurance programs and providing expert guidance to ensure compliance and best practice across the organisation.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Develop and implement action plans to ensure compliance with Fire Safety standards.
  • Provide professional Fire Safety advice and design strategies to scrutinise and assure safety practices.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the delivery of remedial actions.
  • Lead and develop the Fire Safety Assurance team to ensure high performance and successful delivery of Fire Safety programmes.
  • Monitor and support the implementation of the Fire Safety Risk Management Framework and Assurance programs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Expert understanding of Fire Safety and its application in social housing, building construction, and/or repairs and maintenance environments.
  • Significant expertise in legislation, regulation, policy, and best practice surrounding Fire Safety.
  • Proven ability to undertake complex organisational assurance audits and provide quality information and guidance.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively engaging at all levels of the organisation.
  • Ability to undertake nationwide travel and possess a full UK driving license.
