Senior Planner - London

My client is a highly respected independent consultancy, known for working on some of the UK's most prominent projects. Due to an exciting and expanding pipeline of work, they are looking to make the addition of a Senior Planner to their London based team!

The Role:The successful candidate will be supporting a variety of projects in regeneration, residential, logistics, and commercial developments. You'll collaborate with experienced professionals, assisting on planning applications, appeals, and local plan representations. You will be a key point of contact for clients, planning authorities, and stakeholders, helping drive projects forward and representing the company at public events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver diverse planning projects, including applications, appeals, and advice.
  • Prepare accurate planning reports and correspondence.
  • Foster client relationships and lead project meetings.
  • Contribute to fee proposals and tenders.
  • Assist with managing consultant teams and mentor junior employees.

What We're Looking For:

  • Relevant degree and RTPI accreditation, and ideally MRTPI Chartership.
  • Experience in medium to large-scale projects.
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written skills.
  • Solid understanding of UK planning law.
  • Commercial awareness, sound judgment, and professionalism.
