A brand new role is now available with a Transport Planning specialist in their brand new office in Borough. They are a collaborative modern consultancy that has established itself as one of the busiest Transport Planning teams in London.

This consultancy has grown fantastically since it's establishment in 2017 and after just 7 years they are now well over 50 strong so they're well on track to be over 200 in another 7 years. In order to keep this sustainable, they need you to join their ranks and help deliver a plethora of projects such as Cavendish Square, multiple high rise residential office and commercial buildings in London and public masterplan redevelopments.

You'd be working in a fantastic Central London office in Borough, completely flexibly to suit your work life balance, there are regular social events and even a yearly trip to a European City!

Senior Transport Planner Responsibilities

  • Prepare proposals for, manage and understand commercial aspects of small projects
  • Teach junior members of the team and liaise with co-professionals and clients
  • Be questioning, curious, collaborative, thorough and proactive in the delivery of projects, your own development and business opportunities

Senior Transport Planner Requirements

  • The strengths and weaknesses of research methods and survey techniques
  • Manipulating data, interrogating, analysing, understanding how it informs the project requirements
  • TRICS, multi-modal trip generation and vehicle traffic distribution
  • National, regional and local planning policies in relation to development proposals
  • National highway design guidance and traffic management techniques
  • Writing technical reports
  • Core software tools - AutoCAD, TRICS, TEMPro, Junctions 10 and LinSig
  • Relevant degree, Masters or equivalent vocational qualification
