We're looking for a Senior Transport Planner, in Central London!

A well-reputed, medium-sized, independent UK consultancy, offers multidisciplinary advice to developers looking to maximise the profitability of new development sites, and guide developers through planning approval, primarily for large residential sites, but with plenty of variation in scope, complexity, and alternative sectors.

They are looking for a Senior Transport Planner in their London office, which may also be a Transport Planner who is ready to make the step upwards.

Responsibilities:


  • As a Senior Transport Planner, you will be required to act as technical project manager for smaller projects, while contributing to larger ones.
  • Produce Transport Statements, Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and EIA Transport Chapters, supported by junction modelling wherever applicable.
  • Delegate tasks to junior staff, and be responsible for upskilling and mentoring them.
  • Build relationships with clients and consult them using your expertise, to ensure repeat business.
  • Contribute to bids and commercial responsibilities when required.

  • The Ideal Future Senior Transport Planner:


  • Has the desire to work at a project ownership level for smaller, development planning projects.
  • Has knowledge of the production of development planning deliverables, including Transport Statements, Transport Assessments and Travel Plans; and,
  • Prior experience of junction modelling using Junctions 9/10/11 (ARCADY/PICADY).
