Specialising in B2B sales while also catering to direct clients, they offer expert knowledge backed by first-hand travel experience. As an Africa Expert, you will play a key role in designing and selling extraordinary African adventures. Your in-depth knowledge will help guide trade partners and clients, offering tailored recommendations and insider insights. Whether it’s a luxury safari or an off-the-beaten-path escape, you will bring each itinerary to life.

As the Africa Expert, you will enjoy 100% remote working, with regular company events and trips away to stay connected. Job Description:

In this role, you will create tailored travel experiences, manage bookings, provide expert advice, and build industry relationships while staying updated on global travel trends.

• Working directly or with the trade partner, get to know the customer's needs in detail, curating journeys that exceed expectations
• Continuously research and stay updated on worldwide travel destinations, including their attractions, accommodations, transportation options, and local customs
• Create customised travel itineraries tailored to each client's preferences, ensuring a unique and fulfilling travel experience
• Work with sales support to ensure all bookings and documentation is delivered on time, accurately
• Offer ongoing support to clients before, during, and after their trip, addressing any concerns, providing travel tips, and ensuring a smooth travel experience
• Build and maintain strong relationships with travel industry partners, including travel agencies, tour operators, hotels, airlines, and tourism boards, to expand the business network and access exclusive deals and offers
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices through training, conferences, workshops, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and expertise in travel planning and sales

Experience Required:

• 5-10 years of experience in b2b tailor-made travel
• Must be an expert of Africa Travel
• Track record of delivering outstanding customer service promptly and efficiently
• Target driven
• Customer service centric
