ROLE: Travel ManagerWHERE: City of LondonWHEN: Monday - Friday / Perm Position / 09:30 - 17:30 / hybrid workingSECTOR: Legal Services SALARY: £60,000 - £90,000 per annum

DUTIES:

  • Develop and lead the Travel Management team
  • Management of the Global Travel Management oversight
  • Reporting & analysis - identifying travel cost saving initiatives, trends in travel behaviour and monitoring the firm's global spend
  • Develop and maintain the global Travel Management strategy for the firm,
  • Benchmark, analyse, monitor and report on travel expenditure and compliance
  • Ensure that the Travel strategy and policies reflect industry best practice
  • Drive improved management of our travel spend and an improved travel management service
  • Design and outline Travel Management goals, objectives and scope for Practice Groups and Business Services
  • Contract management - liaise and manage third party vendors
  • Develop, implement and manage all travel vendor relationships and programs
  • Escalation point for issue resolution for all travel queries

WHAT'S NEEDED:

  • 8+ years in a travel focused role
  • Experience within a corporate setting - legal and professional services is preferable but not essential
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing operational strategies
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with working with various different teams globally
  • Capable of working to strict deadlines
