Luxury Travel Consultant - Amadeus GDS

Please note only suitable candidates from a business travel background with GDS experience will be considered for this post.

Luxury Travel Consultant Duties:

Role Duties

  • Actively listen to clients' travel preferences and requirements, and offer suitable travel options

  • Meet and exceed sales targets by actively promoting and upselling travel products and services

  • Handle travel bookings, including flights, hotels, clinics, car rentals, and activities, while ensuring accuracy and efficiency

  • Research and stay updated on the latest travel trends, deals, and promotions to offer the best options to clients

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals

  • Starting to build your own direct client book and to account manage

  • Actively manage your pipeline of opportunities, clearly logging key trip information / client requests (so that other team members could assist with your book in your absence)

  • Monitor your enquiries and sales data to report back to the team

  • Handling specialist sales e.g., group retreats, sales through partnerships, corporate events, unique experiences, bespoke multi-stop tours, remote destinations

  • Manage and develop relationships with existing suppliers and commercial partners

Essential Requirements:

  • Luxury Travel experience is essential

  • Fully proficient on Amadeus
