Business Travel Team Leader – Exciting new opportunity to join a successful Travel Management Company as the senior member of their corporate travel team.Salary £45,000 - £46,000. Role is office-based in London 3 days per week and 2 from home. Candidate must be fully conversant using a native GDS    Business Travel Team Leader duties:
- Support senior management with the operations of all corporate travel to achieve an effective and profitable operation.
- Supervise the team of Business Travel Consultants and provide operational assistance, mentoring and coaching.
- Oversee all VIP accounts.
- Monitor PNR’s in Galileo to avoid profit loss and manage queues to stay on top of ticket deadlines
- Manage relationship with clients: attendance to meetings, oversight of all travel arrangements
- Negotiate optimal rates from suppliers to reduce cost to client and increase profitability.
- Assist team with complex travel itineraries, ticketing, refunds and reissues.
- Work with the Ops Manager and Account Management team in their comms with clients.
Business Travel Team Leader skills required:
- Substantial business travel experience as a senior team member
- Strong knowledge of a native GDS
- Ticketing and reissuing experience
- Experience of building strong client relationships
- Previously lead, supervised or organised teams
Business Travel Team Leader additional info:
- Working between 0830-1830 on a small shift pattern working either 8.30am-4.30pm, 9.30am-5.30pm or 10.30am-6.30pm.
