Senior Travel Consultant – Luxury Travel

We are representing a prestigious travel company that specialises in high-end private and corporate clients worldwide. With offices in London, Oslo, and Singapore, they are known for delivering bespoke, sophisticated travel experiences with an emphasis on exceptional service. To support their continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Travel Consultant to join their London team.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly experienced luxury travel professional to manage tailor-made itineraries for Ultra-High-Net-Worth Individuals (UHNWI). The role will involve:

  • Client Management – Acting as the primary point of contact, handling client interactions via email, phone, and in-person meetings.
  • End-to-End Itinerary Planning – Designing and overseeing bespoke travel experiences, from research and booking to final execution.
  • Sales & Conversions – Using industry expertise and consultative sales skills to convert inquiries into high-value bookings.
  • Market & Industry Expertise – Staying ahead of travel trends, luxury destinations, and key contacts to guide both clients and colleagues.
  • Collaboration & Leadership – Working closely with internal teams, providing guidance, and sharing knowledge to enhance the company’s service offering.
  • Supplier & Partner Relations – Building and maintaining strong relationships with key industry partners to secure the best travel experiences for clients.
Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience in a luxury travel agency, specializing in high-end, tailor-made itineraries.
  • A proven track record in handling complex bookings from start to finish, including pricing, invoicing, and budgeting.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and a deep understanding of industry practices.
  • Strong knowledge of luxury travel destinations, hotel brands, and affiliations.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and client relationship management skills.
  • A highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented approach.
  • A keen interest in gastronomy, wine, art, and culture, aligning with UHNWI preferences.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively on diverse projects.
