Are you an experienced Travel Consultant with worldwide travel knowledge, looking to move into the world of Tailormade , thrive on selling luxury products and looking to work with the flexibility of Hybrid for a growing company?Then this role could be for you !We are looking for Travel agents, Travel consultants, Travel advisors with excellent Tailormade or worldwide Travel sales experience to work hybrid in Central London 2 days a week and 3 days from home.Selling worldwide trips including flights, land, adventure as well as cruising, to Egypt, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, the Americas and Europe To the Luxury Travel market. Worldwide Tailormade Travel Consultant Responsibilities:
- Putting together holidays for worldwide travel destinations, including; Africa, south America, Asia, India and for Cruises
- Maximising sales opportunities through up selling, cross selling and giving your totally awesome advise about some pretty amazing locations around the world to your customers
- Identifying your customer needs through consultative selling and offering excellent customer service to encourage customers to book again in the future.
- Collaborate with internal teams to make sure the customers journey goes as smoothly as possible
Worldwide Tailormade Travel Consultant Requirements:
- Recent experience of working in the travel industry - ideally from a Retail Travel Agency or a Travel Call Centre, Tour operator or Similar background.
- Experience of working in a targeted Travel sales environment.
- Good knowledge of worldwide travel destinations, adventure travel or Cruise experience would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English, to enable you to build rapport with your customers
- Good multitasking and organisational skills
- Understanding of gds travel systems would be an advantage although GDS system can be trained for the right person
- Self-motivated with a determination to succeed and progress
Other info:
- Salary of 21-25k plus commissions of approx. £200-300 per month
- Hours of work 8.30am - 5.30pm Mon - Sat (with a day off in the week if a Saturday is worked )
- Saturdays = 1 in every 3
- 20 Days holiday plus bank holidays and the option to buy extra holidays too
