Are you an experienced Operations / Administrator within the Travel Industry? Working knowledge of GDS systems? Would you like to work for an award winning & leading travel company, with almost 100 years in the industry? Look no further!!We are working with a Central London based Tour Operator, who are looking for an experience Flight Ticketing & Administration Consultant to join their friendly team.The role is predominantly working within a back-office team where you will share our passion for the World of Luxury Travel and River Cruising with this company's loyal customers. You will be selling them the dream with opportunity to upsell, gain & retain loyal relationships & support the growth of the business.Responsibilities:* Ticketing Flight bookings using the company website and GDS partners, ensuring Airline Ticket deadlines are met * Checking and filing Flight bookings made by our Reservations Team through the website and GDS partners with excellent attention to detail* Ensuring Schedule Changes are actioned in the best interest of the clients and business to meet the tours and transfer requirements* To manage requests from Customer Service & Sales emails by responding within the expected time frame with excellent written communication skills and updating Flight bookings as required* Book Air as per clients' requests to suit our Tour packages* Demonstrate the ability to multi-task between, emails & other operational tasks assigned to you * To support the Flight Desk Team and Customer Service & Communication team with crisis calls (i.e - COVID-19 affected departures)* Confident in using multiple Microsoft programs especially excel with day-to-day workload, tasks and data entry* Take day to day initiative and share knowledge with other team members* To maximise every sales opportunity to excel both revenue and conversion targets* To deliver exceptional customer service to our discerning, loyal customers who book high value trips

Skills & Requirements:* Minimum of 1 year travel industry experience * Strong GDS Knowledge (highly desirable)* Exceptional customer service skills* Excellent written and oral communication competency* Exceptional attention to detail * A willingness to take responsibility and to work as a part of a close team* Ability to work in a high-pressured environment * Ability to adapt to the APT culture and live the APT values * Confident with Microsoft programmes * Travel & Tourism Certification ideal but not compulsory

The Package:* Basic Salary of £25,000 * 25 days annual leave plus BH as well as the option to purchase additional leave * Tour, Travel & Flight discounts * Ongoing Training & Development
