A very exciting opportunity has come up to join a global travel company who is looking for a Customer Service Consultant to join them on a permanent basis. This role offers a basic salary of £25,000 with commission on top sitting at around £100 - £300 per month depending on either new or existing customers. This role offers hybrid working where there is a requirement to go into their London central office 2 days a week maximum with the rest being able to work from home. There is a requirement for weekend work however, this is on a rota basis, not every weekend and time off in the week is given when either Saturday or Sunday are worked. Job description: * Handle existing bookings calls from both direct clients and travel agents * Provided excellent customer service at all times and ensure you are adapting your approach depending on the customers and bookings you are dealing with* Support with the overflow of new booking calls if and when needed* Supporting with reporting* Ensure the customer is supported through the journey Experience and skills needed: * Experience within the travel industry and within a customer service based role is essential for this role with experience of using a GDS system * Experience going over and beyond to support customers with all manner of queries* Excellent written and verbal communication* Confident in using Microsoft applications* Experience in taking day to day initiative as well as work with other members of the teamThis role does require a level of flexibility due to the nature of the business and the calibre of clients you will be dealing with.
