Job Title: Outreach Tutor
Location: Barking & Dagenham
Salary: £25 - £30 per hour (Depending on experience)

Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are looking for a caring Outreach Tutor for Barking & Dagenham.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver tailored one-to-one tuition in Maths and English (GCSE level) to students in their homes.
Adapt teaching strategies to suit the needs of students with SEN and SEMH challenges.
Build strong, trusting relationships to engage and motivate learners.
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
Work closely with parents, carers, and educational professionals to ensure a holistic approach to learning.
Create a calm and structured learning environment that promotes confidence and success.

Ideal Candidate:

Teaching/tutoring experience with SEN and SEMH students.
Strong knowledge of the Maths and English GCSE curriculum.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to working with students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred but not essential).
