Tutors/Assessors (Trainee & Qualified) - Central, and West London

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 plus expenses

Business and Administration, Management, Team Leading, Learning and Development, Warehousing and Logistics

With a well structured induction and training programme, we have a successful history of employing individuals who are occupationally competent to become qualified. We currently have openings for both qualified and trainee Tutors/Assessors to join our expanding team.

Your role will be predominantly field-based, covering London and the surrounding areas where you will be responsible for teaching, assessing and supporting employed learners through our government funded apprenticeships. This will include delivery of Maths, English and ICT functional skills for which you will receive training and support from our Functional Skills Specialists

Job requirements

You must have at least 3 years + experience within a senior/first line management role in any of the sectors listed above, in addition you will meet the criteria below:

  • Talent for teaching, coaching, assessing
  • Assessing qualification A1/TAQA (desirable)
  • Professional and confident manner
  • Ability to motivate and inspire people
  • Good standard of Maths, English and ICT skills
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Up to date administration and IT skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and targets
  • Ability to work on own initiative with a proactive approach
  • Full UK/EU driving license (desirable)
  • Flexible and willing to travel
